Psalm 31:19 How Great Is Thy Goodness

Psalm 31:19 (KJV)  Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! 

For the faithful, the LORD manifests His greater faithfulness by bestowing of His abundant goodness upon them. The psalmist therefore extols the LORD, “Oh how great is Thy goodness.”

To the trusting heart, the LORD proved Himself most reliable, most dependable, and most stable. The man of God who fears God experiences no limit to the goodness of God. It is most generously bestowed and given.

Psalm 31:21 (KJV)  Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city. 

The psalmist therefore blesses the LORD for His kindness as he seeks refuge in Him and finds utmost safety. Amen.
