John 12:26 Let Him Follow Me

John 12:26 (KJV)  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

Serving the Lord is to follow Him. Where He leads, there shall His servant be. There is a blessing in service, the Father honours His servant. A tremendous privilege! A marvellous privilege to serve the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Following the Lord requires the servant to hear the instruction of the Master and do as He leads – John 10:27 (KJV)  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

The psalmist remarked of the satisfaction of service in the vineyard of the Lord, the labour will not be in vain – Psalm 17:15 (KJV)  As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.
