John 16:12-14 He Shall Receive of Mine And Shall It Unto You

John 16:12-14 (KJV) I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Our Lord Jesus prepares His disciples for His suffering, crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension to heaven. He will not be physically present with them but the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, will be sent to be with the disciples.

Jesus said, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.” The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth that will guide God’s people into all truth.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ and by showing that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, who taketh away the sins of the world. Amen.
