Psalm 40:13 Be Please, O LORD, To Deliver Me

Psalm 40:13 (KJV) Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

The Psalmist pleaded, “I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.” Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me.”

Help would come surely from only one quarter, that is from the LORD. The psalmist understood this and resorted to none other devices but to wait patiently for the LORD.

The situation is urgent and the need grave. He pleaded, “O LORD, make haste to help me.” Amen.
