Psalm 37:4-5 Delight Thyself Also In The LORD

Psalm 37:4-5 (KJV) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

The psalmist explains how one delights in the LORD in Psalm 43:4 (KJV)  Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God. 

As he commits himself to the LORD in worship and praise, the LORD was pleased to bless him with answers to prayers.

As the psalmist turns himself over fully to the LORD’s guidance and care, the LORD truly gave him the desires of his heart. Amen.
