Proverbs 14:26-27 (KJV) In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

The fear of the LORD enables God’s children to follow Him knowing that He gives only to them what is best. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich and addeth no sorrow with it.

To fear is there to reverence and to honour and to obey and follow. The LORD is the same yesterday, today and forever.

He is safety. He is a fountain of life. The truly fearful alternative is the snares of death.
