Psalm 73:28 But It Is Good For Me To Draw Near To God
Psalm 73:28 (KJV) But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.
The psalmist drew near to God in the time of testing. He affirmed his trust in the Lord, his GOD.
He extolled, “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.” He affirmed, “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.”
In the testing, he experienced the Lord’s presence going before and with him, “Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.” What comfort the Lord gives to His people. Amen.
