2 Timothy 1:9 (KJV) Who hath saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

It is by the power of God that the gospel effectually saves the unlovely sinners. This was the Apostle Paul’s sad plight before he was gloriously saved on the road to Damascus.

He was persecuting the church. He was changed by the grace of God and set to fulfil His purpose for his lie. The salvation plan of God was marvellously conceived before the world began.

There was fruition as a call by Christ that the Apostle Paul should be given to the preaching of the gospel to the Gentiles. This the Lord enabled him to do by His grace to accomplished His blessed purpose for his life and ours too. Amen.
