Matthew 5:8 Blessed Are the Pure In Heart

Matthew 5:8 (KJV) Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Sin separates man from God. But in Jesus Christ, man’s sin can be cleansed and he can be made pure in the sight of God. Jesus entered human history in the fullness of time to deal with human sin by His perfect life and His sacrifice for sins on the cross two thousand years ago in Jerusalem. Jesus died, bearing the sins of man and rose from the dead the third day.

All who humbly come to Christ, repenting of our sins, trusting His sacrifice on our behalf receives forgiveness of sins and eternal life. Jesus pronounced the forgiven in Christ as blessed. The word “blessed” is in the plural, signifies multiples of blessings.

Having been made whole by Christ, the child of God, seeks to walk in holiness. by the grace of God, confessing his sins before God through Christ. The pure in heart shall see the holy God, fellowship and enjoying with Him. Amen.
