Galatians 1:3-4 Delivered From This Present Evil World

Galatians 1:3-4 (KJV) Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

The coming of Christ was to deliver us from this present evil world. This is the will of God that we should not perish but have eternal life.

Thus is manifest Christ, full of grace and truth, to make clear the way of salvation, that comes only through Him. How did He accomplish this deliverance? By giving Himself for our sins!

How wonderful to know God’s love for us that He seeks our reconciliation to God through His Christ! How wonderful God’s peace comes to us whose sins are forgiven! Amen.
