Romans 10:17 Faith Cometh By Hearing

Romans 10:17 (KJV)  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

It is the hearing of the Word of God that comes to the heart. Therefore, the Word of God must be broadcast, witnessed, and sounded forth to the ears of unsaved hearers and the ears of God’s Word so that faith may come and be increased.

The neglect is in not coming under the sound of God’s Word so that man continues to be spiritual pygmies, not growing, because the soul is not nurtured and fed by God’s Word.

The soul that is nourished by the Word of God increases in spiritual strength, measured by one’s trust in God in all matters of life. May God’s Word be sent forth and may hearers increase in faith for His glory. Amen.
