Psalm 96:1-6 Strength and Beauty are In His Sanctuary

Psalm 96:1-6 (KJV) O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

The LORD is worthy of our praise and worship. The psalmist extolled the LORD with a new song. With every blessing experienced with the LORD, there is a new cause for praise.

The doings of the LORD are great and His Name greatly to be praised. He brings forth salvation for His people. He is exalted in the midst of His people as the LORD, to be feared above all gods. His power fearfully demonstrated like the thunders and the lightnings, shudders the heart.

He only is worthy of our praise and worship. Honour and majesty are before Him for He sovereignly rules from His throne in heaven, His people behold His strength and beauty reflected upon their lives as they yield themselves wholly to Him. Amen.
