Psalm 34:4, 7 The Angel of the LORD Encampeth Round About Them

Psalm 34:4, 7 (KJV)  I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears…. 7 The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

There is a servile fear leading to bondage that can be overcome through prayer. The psalmist committed to the LORD the matters that cause him to fear. He testified that the LORD delivered him from all his fears. What may be the fears that confront us this day? Let us tell it to the Lord.

In those times of mortal danger, the angel of the LORD is at hand to deliver from harm and danger, from the attack of the evil one. The LORD is nigh unto those who fear Him. The psalmist described his dire predicament when he testified – Psalm 34:6 (KJV)  This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

Notice that the LORD never fails those who come to Him. Let us resort to Him always and find in Him our ever-present help. Amen.
