John 11:25 Yet Shall He Live

John 11:25 (KJV)  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Jesus proclaimed His resurrection. Thereafter He resurrected from the dead. He, therefore, testified that through Him, or in Him is eternal life. Through faith in Him, that is, in the truth that He conquered death and did so on our behalf, all that believe in Jesus, receive eternal life.

Though physical death still comes to the believer who comes to Jesus for salvation, such a one is secured eternally. Secured in the salvation of the soul in believing Jesus’ first coming and secured in the salvation of the body at Jesus’ second coming.

So Jesus said to Martha, that her brother Lazarus shall live again! He demonstrated that by raising Lazarus from the dead to attest to the truth of His proclamation of salvation and eternal life to all who believe in Him.

John 11:43-44 (KJV)  And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Let His people comfort each other with these words. Amen.
