2 Corinthians 5:14-15 Live Unto Christ

2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (KJV)  For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Christ died that we may live. He lives after conquering death attests that His sacrifice on our behalf has been effectual. It was accepted by God and accounted for all who come to Christ by faith in His death and resurrection on their behalf.

While we contemplate Christ’s sacrifice, we meditate upon His unconditional love toward us that spurred Him to obey the Father’s will to wrought the greatest and only salvation plan for sinful men to be reconciled to our Holy God. Such love must motivate us to emulate.

Therefore, the Apostle Paul sets for us the spirit of Christian love that constrains us to share the gospel. The meaning of the word “gospel” is not just good news. But the greatest news. The only way to be redeemed from eternal judgment is in Christ. Let His people arise and go forth in the Spirit for His glory, Amen.
