2 Corinthians 13:4 Weak in Him

2 Corinthians 13:4 (KJV)  For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

The believer who walks in the ways of God may seem foolish to the world and yet it is he lives by the power of God. He is not ashamed to share the gospel with others though it seemed to be foolish to many, but it is the power of God unto salvation. Fully persuaded of whom we have believed and received eternal life, we are bold to declare him albeit, seeming fool to many.

The solution for the defeat of sin was through the crucifixion of Christ, His body has to be broken and He has to shed His blood and die to atone for our sins. But following His death came the triumph of His resurrection from the dead.

The miracle of the new birth is quietly lit in the hearts of the redeemed but the effect is tremendous on the day of resurrection. It comes when the gospel is faithfully declared and the power of the Holy Ghost mightly use the word to save the soul.

May the Lord encourage the hearts of His weak ones to go forth with the gospel Amen.
