Colossians 1:17 By Him All Things Consist

Colossians 1:17 (KJV)  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. 

The greatest of Christ is that He is God, He is before all things. He was there before the universe was created. And He is the Creator of all things.

John 1:3 (KJV)  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 

Our physical life comes from Him – John 1:4 (KJV)  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 

Our spiritual life or eternal life comes also through Him. It is logical, this is the only true power in the universe. And the amazing truth is that Christ has condescended to come upon earth to save us. We cannot fathom the immensity of this truth. By faith, we believe it and are blessed for all eternity.

Let us, therefore, meditate upon Christ and His love for us and dwell in His precious presence of peace and utmost joy. Amen.
