Revelation 5:9 Thou Art Worthy

Revelation 5:9 (KJV)  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

The infinite worth of Christ, undervalued by the world, underrated by His saints, properly acknowledged in eternity by the redeemed when we will look back in history. Each with a story to tell, a testimony to be sung as a new song of praise when we will realize the greatness of our salvation.

It was wrought by the blood of Christ, He suffered and died on our behalf that we may be there in the glory of eternity beholding the ravages of hell and the disappointments of multitudes who mock and scorn Christ when the gospel is presented and preached to them. A sad prospect when one of such is one we know. And yet may it not be so, by the mercy of God.

We see the redeemed out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation, none area of the earth with human inhabitants was not reached by the sound of the gospel. This is such a comforting truth that the gospel mission entrusted to the church was fulfilled to the glory of His Name. Amen.
