2 Peter 1:11 An Entrance Into the Everlasting Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ

2 Peter 1:11 (KJV)  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Looking for spiritual fruit and bearing spiritual fruit in the Christian life is a part of the process of sanctification as we yield ourselves to the Spirit of God and His Word.

The psalmist described the blessed man who finds entrance into Christ’s everlasting kingdom when he observed in Psalm 1:1-3 (KJV)  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

For the Apostle Peter, he is nearing the time of his glorification when he made this exhortation and sensed the urgency for the well-being and spiritual growth of the believers that he was wirting to in 2 Peter 1:13-14 (KJV)  Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance; Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

May His blessing be received. His will be done. Amen.
