Psalm 145:18-19 He Also Will Hear Their Cry

Psalm 145:18-19 (KJV)  The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. 

The people of God have an advocate in their LORD who is nigh to them when they call upon Him. The people of God have the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth to guide them into all truths. The Holy Spirit brings to remembrance the truth of God’s Word to guide us in our prayer and direct us in our path of God’s will.

Although there are dire situations that the psalmist faced, the promise of God is that He will deliver them in all his afflictions. This is the assurance God gives to those who fear Him, those who love and obey His Word.

Psalm 145:20-21 (KJV)  The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.
