Psalm 71:23 My Lips Shall Greatly Rejoice

Psalm 71:23 (KJV)  My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

The joy of the redeemed in praises through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs is most comforting, attesting to the truth of the living God in our lives. The Lord turned the psalmist’s affliction to joy, uplifting his spirit, he experienced deliverance

Psalm 71:20 (KJV)  Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.

He saw the Lord’s power as he kept faith to trust in the Lord, he knew the Lord will not leave or forsake him in his time of need.

Psalm 71:1 (KJV)  In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

He affirms the Lord’s presence and power to make a way for him – Psalm 71:3 (KJV)  Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

Truly, there is no lack to him that trust in the Lord. Amen.
