Psalm 25:5 Pray Without Ceasing

Psalm 25:5 (KJV)  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. 

Jesus taught in Matthew 5:6 (KJV)  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

The soul finds nourishment and satisfaction in the constant meditation and yielding of the heart to the truth of God’s Word. Prayer is paramount to lead us along that path.

The psalmist is willing to wait all the day upon God for the wisdom of God determines the prosperity of his way. Not only does he seek the Lord guidance to know the truth and to understand the truth but to appreciate and imbibe it in every day living.

Such immeasurable wisdom is worth our seeking and receiving. May He bless His truth to our hearts this day, Amen.
