Hebrews 9:24 Christ Entered Into Heaven Itself

Hebrews 9:24 (KJV)  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 

Christ’s resurrection from the dead three days after He died upon the cross bearing our sins was a historical truth and His ascension into heaven to appear in the presence of God for us is a greater truth. He is there at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf.

This is the comfort and consolation we have in Christ. He is our Advocate before the Father for us. He is for us. His lifework on earth and even after His ascension is for us. We are indeed most privileged to be found in Christ and to be in His care.

Let us rest in Christ knowing that He who keeps us neither slumbers nor sleep. We may be weary and needed rest before we continue, but Jesus is God, He is able. Let us therefore go to Him and find in Him our all sufficiency. Amen.
