2 Corinthians 4:11 The Life of Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:11 (KJV)  For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

The life of Jesus manifested in our mortal flesh, is an unconditional, sacrificial love what we are willing to do for others in the light of eternity.

It is the love of God shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost for His honour and glory.

The Apostle Paul described such a life when he testified in 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (KJV)  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

What is the life of Jesus? It is the resurrection life. The life that enables us by the power of God to overcome sin and even death, doing the holy will of God for His honour and glory. Amen.
