Proverbs 24:13-14 The Knowlege of Wisdom

Proverbs 24:13-14 (KJV)  My son, eat thou honey, because it is good; and the honeycomb, which is sweet to thy taste: So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.

How wonderfully described is that life with God. It is as honey and the honeycomb that is so good and sweet to the taste. The tasting of that fellowship with God is with His Word.

The father exhorts the son here to seek the knowledge of wisdom that is of God for it nourishes the soul. It prospers the soul for there is a reward promised of eternal life and everlasting joy.

The life that is guided by God is perfect. When the soul yields to God, there is great confidence, as it leans upon the omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent God to lead the way. His wisdom is marvellous, we can rely upon Him to navigate through every new day.

May the Lord bless this new day for His glory. Amen.
