1 Corinthians 1:30-31, Our Privilege in Christ

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

In Christ Jesus, believers are endowed with wisdom, righteousness and sanctification and redemption. This fourfold privilege is most precious. Wisdom from God comes from His Word, read with prayer becomes effectual to guild us along life’s pathway. Righteousness means to be right with God. To live a life that is according to Scriptures by the grace of God. Sanctification is the ongoing work of living holy lives before God and men. And redemption is to present us finally at the presence of God after our life’s journey on earth with a glorious body to enjoy eternity with the Godhead.

Indeed, from salvation to glorification, it is all of God through Jesus Christ. Causes us to bow in humble adoration and praise for all the good that we have received and will continue to receive. We are a privilege people with the message of salvation, that only Jesus saves.

May the good Lord help us to proclaim this message far and wide. Amen.
