Psalm 116:7 Return Unto Thy Rest

Psalm 116:7 (KJV) Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Resting is the LORD is true rest. Away from the LORD is no rest.

In returning to the LORD, the soul finds the blessings of the LORD’s bounty. For the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

He always has and always does. Therefore, the psalmist prays, “Return unto thy rest, O my soul.” Amen.
