Psalm 118:6 (KJV) The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

The psalmist in walking with the LORD felt himself isolated from the compromising crowd that choose to forsake God’s Word. There the LORD assured his heart.

I will not fear was the repose of faith. What can man do unto me?

He was committing himself to the LORD’s care – The battle is not years, but God’s!

The LORD seventh not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s. The psalmist thanked the LORD for His constant and faithful presence throughout. Amen.
