Psalm 38:21-22 Forsake Me Not, O LORD

Psalm 38:21-22 (KJV) Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

The psalmist felt forsaken in the moment of weakness and pleaded that the LORD be not far from him – Psalm 38:8 (KJV)  I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

His prayer was that the LORD would make haste to help him. He understood that true help comes from the LORD.

He sought to the Lord whom he knew is his salvation. He sought none other. Amen.
