2 Corinthians 3:5-6 Our Sufficiency Is Of God

2 Corinthians 3:5-6 (KJV) Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The Apostle Paul acknowledged that the work of the gospel is the Lord’s work. As he trusted in the Lord, the Spirit of God guides him and the gospel team to do His will.

This is the enabling that he receives from the Lord of which he testified, “Who also hath made us able ministers of the New Testament.”

As he waits upon the Lord, knowing his own inadequacy, the Lord, gives spiritual life to him to act on His behalf where souls are saved. Amen.
