1 Peter 4:1-2 Live To The Will Of God

1 Peter 4:1-2 (KJV) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

Having been saved, the believer seeks to live a separate life from the wicked world and the will of the flesh. Christ sets the example.

Living to the will of God is to live a life of holiness and not in the flesh to the lust of men. Suffering has a way of sobering up and humbling a person.

A readiness to seek God for His mercy. Amen.
