2 Corinthians 6:10 As … Yet

2 Corinthians 6:10 As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing. The sorrow of seeing misery as a result of human sin and rejoicing to see man delivered when the gospel is preached.

As poor, yet making many rich. The riches of God’s wisdom is imparted though God’s servant, a poor dinner saved by God’s grace.

As having nothing and yet possessing all things. Though God’s servant may not have material possession in their dedication to the gospel work, yet he is rich because the Lord takes care of all his needs. Amen.
