Luke 17:10 We Have Done That Which Was Our Duty

Luke 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Here is our Lord’s teaching what our attitude must be when we follow Him. It is first do all those things which He has commanded us.

These we must to first to seek His will through diligent study of His Word. Then to do, only by His grace, as He has commanded realizing how weak we are in seeking to do all that He commands us.

And be doing our duty is by way of repaying our gospel debt knowing that we are unworthy for who we are but sinners saved by grace. Amen.
