Ephesians 5:9-10 For the Fruit Of The Spirit

Ephesians 5:9-10 (KJV) For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

The Holy Spirit bears its spiritual fruit in the believer’s life through seasons of cultivation – Psalm 1:2-3 (KJV)  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.  3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 

There are three highlighted here all goodness and righteousness and truth. The basis of God’s love, His way through Christ and His holiness.

Bearing fruit is the mark and evidence of the believer’s life in the Spirit. Amen.
