Nehemiah 4:9 Prayer and Watching

Nehemiah 4:9 Nevertheless we made our prayer unto our God, and set a watch against them day and night, because of them.

In the building of the walls of Jerusalem, Nehemiah trusted God, together with the other builders, unite in prayer for the Lord to undertake to bless the rebuilding of the Second Temple.

There were oppositions and those that would sought to thwart the work. They set a watch against them day and night.

Trusting the Lord under those trying circumstances, the work was completed to His praise. Amen.
