2 Timothy 1:12 Committed Unto Him Against That Day

2 Timothy 1:12 (KJV) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

At the day of judgment, in the day of reckoning, the believer shall not be ashamed. He shall stand before the Lord justified.

Though he may have suffered in his lifetime the persecutions that the world, the flesh and the devil imposes, he is guarded and protected by the Lord for he knew his Lord will see him through.

There is a strong conviction of faith in Christ and he sought to impart to the next generation so that they too may be steadfast, following the Lord. Amen.
