1 Peter 4:1 (KJV) Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;

Christ suffered for His people that their sins may be cancelled out. All their sins are forgiven in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, they have a duty before God to live holily separated from the debauchery of this world. What great price was paid by Christ on their behalf.

It behooves them in thanksgiving, for His glory and for their testimony’s sake to glorify His Name. Amen.
