Isaiah 61:10 Clothed With The Garment Of Salvation

Isaiah 61:10 (KJV) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Salvation is so precious for the sinner is made righteousness in the sight of God. The soul that is saved is clothed with the garment of salvation and covered with the robe of righteousness.

He is also decorated with ornaments like a bridegroom and adorned with jewels as a bride. The fitting honour that the LORD adorned His saved ones is indeed most marvellous.

It calls for great rejoicing and joyfulness. It spontaneously emanates from the soul that is gloriously saved. Amen.
