1 Peter 5:7 Cast All Your Care Upon Him

1 Peter 5:7 (KJV) Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

“To cast” is to “throw upon or place upon”. The believer is to place upon or throw upon God all his or her care.

The adjective “all” means every care that is upon the heart or shoulders that is a burden in the believer’s life. He is to give them to Jesus.

The reason for doing so is clearly that our God is One who cares deeply for His people and has the infinite wisdom and power to help them. Hallelujah, what a Saviour! Amen.
