Psalm 116:1-2 He Hath Heard My Voice And My Supplication

Psalm 116:1-2 (KJV) I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

The LORD is loved by the psalmist because He hath heard his voice and his supplications. He had specific prayers and was uttered to the LORD.

It seemed most impossible but the LORD heard his prayer and inclined His ear to him and answered his prayer. There he saw the LORD’s love for him and he therefore in thanksgiving declared his love for Him.

And with the experience of the LORD’s faithfulness, he will not decline to call upon Him as long as he lives. Amen.
