Proverbs 18:10 (KJV) The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

In the LORD there is safety. The Name of the LORD is a description of His enduring and endearing attributes.

The LORD by His covenantal promises shows forth that unchanging and unchangeable quality of faithfulness in caring for His people. Here is an apt term “a strong tower”, a place for refuge and protection.

Let His people always run to Him, find in Him a most reliable first resort. Amen.
