Psalm 70:4-5 (KJV) Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. 5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

The psalmist speaks of the joy that comes to all who seek the LORD. For in seeking the LORD, there is help continually.

Indeed, our God is magnified. His poor and needy ones come to Him, desperate, seeking that He would make haste to help them. That He makes no tarrying.

In acknowledging that the LORD is his only help and deliverer, the psalmist puts all his stakes with the LORD. There is no back way or side ways but the LORD’S way. Surely, he was not disappointed but rejoice and was glad as he waits upon the LORD for His deliverance. Amen.
