2 Timothy 4:17 That All Gentiles Might Hear

2 Timothy 4:17 (KJV) Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

The Apostle Paul testified of the Lord’s presence and power that protected from the enemies of the gospel so that the Word of God is sent forth through his preaching. The Lord stood with him.

It was great assurance and the Lord strengthened him. Strengthen with courage and wisdom to be wise as serpent and harmless as doves.

Being delivered from the mouth of the lion was his description of the mortal danger that confront him in the course of preaching the gospel. Praise the Lord for His grace. Amen.
