Psalm 44:26 (KJV) Arise for our help, and redeem us for thy mercies’ sake.

There is an urgent need that confronts the psalmist. He pleaded in prayer for the LORD to arise for the help of His people.

Whether it is a trial or persecution or under oppression, there is help and deliverance when the LORD is sought.

God is merciful and for His mercies’ sake, He redeems His people. With Christ there is fullness of redemption. Amen.
