Jude 20 Building Up Yourselves on Your Most Holy Faith

Jude 20 (KJV)  But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 

The Christian life is stabilised and established through the practice of the doctrines taught in the Holy Scriptures. It requires constant and consistent inculcation – precept by precept, line by line. There should not be a let-up in the study of God’s Word lest the devil takes the occasion to tempt and attack God’s people rendered weak through the malnourishment of their souls.

It will be a life-long endeavour to be built up in the faith and to be at last conducted to our heavenly home. Fruitfulness comes with prayer that is added by the Holy Spirit.

It is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, that affirms in the believer’s heart the truth of God’s Word and enables the heart to embrace wholeheartedly and yielding in obedience. This is truth faith built up. Amen.
