Colossians 1:11 (KJV)  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 

The mission entrusted to God’s people is well articulated by the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1:10 (KJV)  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; 

And the enabling will be from the Lord. He will strengthened His people with all might, according to His glorious power. The power that delivered Israel from Egypt, that healed Naaman the Syrian leper general, that opened the eyes of the blind in our Lord’s days. The power that saves a soul!

The spiritual strength endowed by the Lord will enable His people to overcome the adversary with all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness. Tremendous overcoming power! Amen.
