Romans 15:4 Written For Our Learning
Romans 15:4 (KJV) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
The Scriptures were written to instruct God’s people to understand God and His ways that they may walk in them. For therein, God’s people will find strength for life defined here as “patience”, otherwise, be rash to defy the will of God and walk headlong into perdition and destruction.
However, for God’s people who are focused on the study of God’s Word, they shall find His comfort sustaining and keeping and a strength to look with hope toward the future. A purposeful life directed by the Almighty God through His wisdom.
Let God’s people learn well and bear the spirit fruit of patience, find comfort daily in His Word, and a strength to live to His glory. Amen.
