Job 23:10 He Knoweth the Way That I Take
Job 23:10 (KJV) But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Amid severe trial, Job’s faith was sorely tested. He remained steadfast in the Lord.
Though he could not understand why these calamities came upon him, he knew the Lord was there with him in his trial and so he said, “But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”
Peter well articulated like Job that our trials in life are like the refining of gold, with the heat causing the impurities to be separated so that what comes forth will be pure God – 1 Peter 1:7 (KJV) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
There is rejoicing in the life of God’s people who trust in the Lord, giving glory to Him though often, not understanding the head nor tail of what is going on! Amen.
