1 John 5:18 Whosoever Is Born of God

1 John 5:18 (KJV) We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

All who are born again in Christ, received the grace of God to live holily for God’s glory. Endued with the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, all who are born again in Christ, finds wisdom in God to not yield to temptation.

Most clearly, the devil, or the wicked one, has no power to overcome him because the Holy Spirit protects him – 1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

There is an inward testimony that the redeemed will know they belong to God – 1 John 5:19 (KJV) And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. Amen.
