2 Timothy 4:17-18 Preserved Unto His Heavenly Kingdom

2 Timothy 4:17-18 (KJV) Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

The work of God was accomplished by the Lord’s enabling that gives the Apostle Paul the courage and strength to preach the gospel even in the lion’s den.

He experienced deliverance from the Lord which he could testify so that Timothy, his spiritual son, will not be discouraged to press on with the gospel work.

There is the persevering of the Apostle Paul which testified and there is at the same time the Lord enabling him to persevere and not give up. The final destination of all the endeavouring, that he may be preserved unto His heavenly kingdom, glorious and a worthy final destination promised. Amen.
